What drives the price

4 factors

Number of pages

A landing page is not a fifteen-page site with a service structure. Pages that follow one template are cheaper than pages that each need their own design.

Functionality

A form is cheap. A webshop with checkout, a login, or a customer portal is not. Anything that stores data or handles money costs more than a page that shows text.

Integrations

Connecting to accounting, stock or a CRM is often the biggest unknown. It depends entirely on whether that system has a usable API.

Content

If the text and images exist, it moves fast. If they still have to be made, that is a separate track — and usually the thing that delays a project.

What makes it more expensive than expected

5 pitfalls

Most quotes overrun on what surrounds the build rather than the build itself. These rarely come up in a first conversation and make the difference later.

  • Multiple languages. Two languages is almost twice the content, and half of all agencies implement it wrongly.
  • Migrating an existing site: old URLs have to redirect, or you lose your Google rankings.
  • A CMS nobody asked for. Being able to edit sounds free, but it costs build time and maintenance.
  • Integrations with systems that have no API, where only a workaround exists.
  • Open-ended revision rounds. We quote a change before building it, precisely for this reason.

What our price includes

6 included

Some agencies quote low and invoice the rest afterwards. With us these sit inside the number you get up front, so you can compare quotes honestly.

  • Responsive design, tested on real phones.
  • Technical SEO: titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap.
  • Analytics and conversion tracking, connected before launch.
  • Hosting set up on your own account.
  • Handover of the repository, the domain and all access.
  • Documentation of what you will manage yourself.

Common questions about cost

5 questions
Why are there no prices on this page?

Because a number without a scope means nothing. Two projects both called "a website" can be a factor of ten apart. We quote a fixed price for a written scope after one call, and that number does not move afterwards without your say-so.

Do you work hourly or at a fixed price?

A fixed price for a fixed scope. On an hourly rate you carry the risk of every setback; on a fixed price we carry it. In exchange, we have to get the scope sharp up front.

Can it be done in stages?

Yes, and on larger projects we recommend it. The smallest version that can go live first, then expand based on what you see happening. That spreads the cost and stops you paying for features nobody uses.

What does maintenance cost per month?

It depends what you want. Static sites often cost nothing to host and carry no mandatory maintenance contract. If you want us on retainer we agree a fixed monthly figure. You are never locked in, because you hold the code and the accounts.

How quickly do I know what it costs?

Within one working day you get a reply to your brief, and after one call of about thirty minutes you have a written scope with a fixed number and a delivery date.
