Privacy policy
This site sets no cookies, measures no visitors and runs no advertising. The only moment we receive personal data is when you send us a brief yourself. Last updated 10 September 2026.
Who processes your data
PSL Systems is responsible for the processing described in this policy. If you have a question about your data, you reach the same people who built the site.
- PSL Systems, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42075111.
- Email: contact@pslsystems.nl
- WhatsApp and phone: +31 6 20671356
- We have no data protection officer; an organisation of this size is not required to appoint one.
What we process and why
There are exactly two moments at which we receive data about you. The contact form, which you fill in yourself, and the server logs of our hosting provider, which are kept automatically.
Through the contact form we receive your name, your email address, the type of project you select and the text of your brief. The form also records the language of the page, the address of the page you filled it in on, and the time you sent it. Those three help us read your request in context.
We use that data solely to answer your enquiry and to be able to quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We send no newsletter and sell nothing on.
The hosting server logs contain your IP address, the address requested and the time. They are used to keep the site available and secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure website, Article 6(1)(f).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries no longer than is useful, and no shorter than is sensible: in this trade, clients regularly come back to an earlier quote a year or more later.
- Enquiries that do not become a project: 24 months after the last contact, then deleted.
- Correspondence about a live or completed project: for the duration of the project and afterwards per statutory retention periods.
- Invoices and accounts: 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
- Server logs: per the standard retention of our hosting provider, typically a few weeks.
- If you want to be deleted sooner, we will do that on request.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and never pass it on for advertising. We do use a small number of providers that are necessary to run the site and the mailbox. They process data on our instructions.
Two of these are established in the United States. Transfers take place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
This site serves its typefaces from our own server. No request goes out to Google Fonts or any other external network, so your IP address is not passed to anyone in the process.
- Netlify, Inc. (United States) — hosting of the website and its server logs.
- Formspree, Inc. (United States) — processing and forwarding of the contact form.
- Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) — our business email, where your message arrives.
Cookies and measurement
This site sets no cookies. Not functional ones, not analytics ones, and certainly not advertising ones. That is why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to accept or refuse.
We use no Google Analytics, no Meta or LinkedIn advertising pixels, and no other form of visitor measurement. We therefore do not know who you are or which page you looked at, unless you write to us yourself.
The site also stores nothing in your browser. No localStorage or comparable technique is used.
Your rights
The GDPR gives you a number of rights over your own data. Send a message to contact@pslsystems.nl and we reply within four weeks, usually far sooner. We will only ask you to confirm that you are who you say you are, never for a copy of your ID.
- Access: ask what data we hold about you.
- Rectification: have incorrect data corrected.
- Erasure: have your data deleted, unless we are legally required to keep it.
- Restriction: have the use of your data paused.
- Portability: receive your data in a readable file.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Complaint: you can always complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security and changes
The site is served over HTTPS only, so traffic between your browser and the server is encrypted. There are no user accounts and no login page, so there are no passwords to leak. The contact form carries a hidden field that stops automated submissions without making you solve a puzzle.
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If something material changes about what we do with your data, we say so explicitly.
