A sitemap is the list of every page you want indexed. Why it exists and why it is so often wrong.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization: the work that makes your pages appear when somebody searches for what you offer. It breaks into three parts. Technical: can a search engine read your site, is it fast, are the titles and structure right. Content: does a page exist that answers what somebody typed. And authority: do other sites link to you.
It is not a button and not a one-off job. It is a property of how the site is built and what is on it.
This site has a separate page for every service, every trade and every decision, because that is how people search. It is also why there are more than a hundred pages rather than ten: not to impress Google with volume, but because a webshop for wholesalers and a website for roofers are two different questions deserving two different answers.
